I'd be all for it if we could continue games with this kind of intensity, pittman. But I wonder if either school would travel halfway across the country for a non-conference matchup.

Same, It's doubtful, but ya never know!

Just like our ex coach Larry Eustachy, doesn't know how to cover three point shooters. The guy was wide open.

I was at the game. ECU's gameplan was strong and worked for the most part. The Pirates just had long stretches of not scoring. In the end, the UTEP player stroked the shot. It was very surreal. Congrats to the Miners.

A couple of points of interest, 1) I don't know why the Miners didn't utilize the Washburn bros more in the 1st half and toward the end of the game. They dominated after half and then ... 2) In my 42 years, I have never seen the Pirates shoot freethrows like Sat. 3) Minges was rocking. It was good to see a strong, engaged crowd cheer on the Pirates.

Last second losses are painful, no doubt. One of the most painful for me was as the hands of the Pirate football team. It was the 2007 season when ECU scored a last second TD on a last minute drive to send the game into OT and the Pirates went on to win. So frustrating to be leading by a TD with about 1 minute to go only to watch your team drive the length of the field. The Pirates also beat Boise St in the Hawaii Bowl that year. UTEP ended the season 4-8 having lost 4 of those by an average of 4 points and another to Rice by 7. Typical frustrating Price season.
