This is a good story. I think every school should have their players listen to this. Kudos to CJP for doing this.

As a father who lost a son to heroin and whose other son is in recovery, this is not an unfamiliar story to me. I know it sounds unbelievable. And to young men who are facing the excitement of fans cheering, the bright lights of attention, it all seems so insignificant. Just a little dope. Just this once. Your cool aren't you? Everybody does it, man. Shiny exciting package. So small. So non-threatening. Pure Evil. Who in that room won't listen? Who will say "can't happen to me"? God waits for him.

I have a son struggling with addiction also. It is hell on Earth.
