Lots calling for Jarvis head, which I dont think will happen since we just did a new contract for him, and spent a lot of money on confrence entrance and exit fee's.

You have enough basketball fans besides two to be on meltdown mode? If you want meltdown mode, read HH, haha...

Football by far has more fans then our Basketball, but the fans of that sport are VERY passionate about it. They are speaking thier mind.

I dont care for the sport TBH, because I was never very good at it, but I realize its potential as the 2nd biggest possible revenue generator behind football.

I never know what to expect with Troy... one day they lose to an awful team, the next day they beat a great team. Makes no sense.

It makes sense for you guys, you live and die by the three..Plus with 15 jucos every year coming in, I would imagine it would be hard to establish any kind of consitiency game in game out with guys not playing along side each other very long and not much time to gel with a revolving pool of chaging players every season..How much does you HC make? He has it made with only have to visit a couple of JUCO's every season, I am sure he already has a pipeline, so he can lay back and not have to recruit or visit a high school gym ever....

I'm well aware. Everyone on the Troy board will agree that Maestri has gotten lazy with his recruiting efforts...

Ever since Troy fell back down after making post-season appearances in the CBI and NIT in '09 and '10, Maestri has blamed the poor play on his inability to recruit better players because of Troy's ugly old arena...

Now that the new Trojan Arena has been built, he can no longer use that excuse. So we will see how it goes. He already has one player committed from high school.

Because we all know you guys are the primary reason the game is being televised...

Maestri needs to go. Hes been at Troy since 1982. I know if I was in the same job for 31 years I would have grown into a routine. And we need new Direction at this point.

I really feel this is his last year. Ive heard from several people this is it for him.

If that's true, then Troy better make a great hire... with Hartwell being a basketball guy, I think he will find a great coach.
