Battle of the Bruins (talent show)
Everyone needs to go to this. It's for a great cause and it's a real showcase of the diversity of talent that's on Belmont's campus. We went last year, and thought it was great (already have our tickets for this year). Baseball won it last year with what I'd describe as a series of dugout-style micro skits. However, I must admit, I was somewhat taken by volleyball. Those girls can sing!

RE: Battle of the Bruins (talent show)
Did anyone besides us go? The show was great. It's amazing how much talent our student athletes have. Baseball won for the 2nd year in a row. Men's basketball came in second. (I think) it was Softball that came in 3rd. But, honestly, I cannot remember. I thought women's basketball dialed-in their performance. They had their team manager sing and play guitar while the team stood behind her holding up cell phones. What's worse was many of them kept covering their mouths to try to hide a yawn. I suppose I will have to give them a pass this year for that, since they won at EKU the night before . . . so they probably got in real late.
