Hate that he said Karen Johnson though. Why do so many people say it that way. Not difficult.

I would be willing to bet that KJ gets a good laugh out of that. When announcers at travel games do it, I bet it just makes him score more.

Welcome Fan! I agree. Im sure it would motivate Kerron....one of the most competitive players I have ever seen play.

At Lipscum earlier this year, the announcer called him Kerron at the start of the game. In the middle of the game when we started beating them pretty badly, he started calling him Karen.

Going back to my student days of the 1980's, it always seemed like Lipscomb has been jealous of us in one way or another. Anything petty coming out of their announcer doesn't surprise me in the least. We were also at the 1st Bison-beat-down of the season. Since you mention that, I do remember the announcer calling KJ "Karen;" though, for the life of me, I cannot remember him saying "Kerron." But, like I said, when it comes to Lipscomb, I don't put a mid-game name change past them at all.

Somehow, I don't think TSU (as an in-town/in-conference rival) is going to be as classless as Lipscomb. I suspect that there will be much more respect between TSU and us . . . a much friendlier rivalry.
