Well, if we're talking $EC coaches, to sweeten the pot?

Let's assume it isn't SEC coaches and may be closer to home.

a. Making sure they are still committed. Maybe word is out they are looking around.
b. Telling them we might not have a place for them after all and they should feel free to look at other opportunities.

??

I am thinking it may be for gathering needed information for the signing.

Possibly on either.

Or maybe to see if they can get feedback from some of their buddies who are wavering.

Didn't the NCAA just last week change the rules and you can have an unlimited number if private messages, texts, etc? There were a bunch of things in the changes perhaps someone could look them up. I am on the road.

With Petrino, Tuberville & Mahlzahn trolling around, if I were Coach McGee, I would be going outside every 30 minutes to make sure my dog was still in the yard.

Every 3 star kid and most of the highly rated 2 star kids that are UAB commits are on the list of targets for WKU, Cincy and to a lesser extent, Auburn.

Looking at it, it appears the rule changes only apply to normal recruiting periods, which this is.

It means the rules don't take effect until August 1, 2013.

Bur would it be any worse than a "secondary violation" if one had a "fast clock"?

At least we are not paying cash for kids like the two SEC criminals in our state. I swear its getting worse. It's like the wild Wild West now. I laugh at the rule changes because they don't follow them now.
