My version of how the conference standings are:
USM +2
Memphis +2
UTEP +1
UCF +1
Tulsa +1
Marshall 0
ECU 0
Tulane -2
Houston -2
UAB -2
SMU -4
Rice -4

Teams get +1 for road wins, 0 for home wins, and -2 for home losses

I assume road losses also = 0?

Shouldn't your system be

+2 for road win
+1 for home win
-1 for road loss
-2 for home loss

A home loss is the worst thing for a team. A road win is good but a home loss is so damaging that it deserves a -2. This was the system that Haskins used to go by.
