Question about helmets in these senior bowls...
A lot of players are wearing logos of other colleges on their helmets... Why is that?

It is a tradition at the Senior Bowl (I don't know when it got started) that the players would exchange helmet decals and someone at some point wore one he had been given and it has become part of the tradition.

I hate it. I get it by dont like it. I love it when I see a player with only their own helmet and none of the other crap on it.

What is worst a couple of years ago unc allowed a player (Austin) to wear school helmet as he was put off the team and not allow to play by ncaa his senior year but played in senior bowl. I though senor bowl was some type of reward for good play and future potential...............did not playing a single down and was a BIG problem for unc program as well as other players.

Back during the Miami/Note Dame rivalry in the late 80'sND had a player Michael Stonebreaker who went to the sr bowl he played in his solid gold helmet with a Miami "U" on the side.
