UAB will be tough for USM. Everything about UAB no matter the record, should make any USM team bring their best effort regardless of sport. I think it will be a tough game.

In all honesty, I expect USM to win by 10 or more. Sadly, this team just doesn't have much talent on it. Good news is, Haase has some solid recruits coming in, so the future is bright.

I'm trying to figure out why the Vegas spread is nearly 12 points for USM (was -11.5 last time I saw this morning)... is UAB that bad right now?

Very little depth, not much through the way of big men, and we're not shooting well lately. We could rise up and win, it's Southern Miss and I know the players want it, but you won't hear a lot of Blazer fans beating the drum with confidence.

Oh, and we're 0-42 from 3 through the last two and a half games. Either we break out and look good winning or we lose.

Y'all have as good a shot as you've had anytime recently. There are a couple of buses of fans headed down.

Looking forward to it. Hopefully UAB won't make it a 3rd straight game without a 3pter. Hard to win a game without a single 3pter.

Got to admit that this will be the most favorable opportunity for USM in some time. UAB is still trying to adjust with a new staff and lots of new faces on the roster. UAB is going to have to get someone making some perimeter shots if we are to have any chance.
