Joe Lunardi Braketology now has us in a "First Round" game against Memphis. The winner will take on 6 seeded Illinois as an 11 seed. While it is WAY early and these projections are completely unreliable, Memphis is not a team I wont to play (especially in a play in game). We do not match up well with real athletic teams and its no shock that Memphis is just that. Curious...how does the current 68 team format select who plays in these games. Two play in games for a 16 seed and two for an 11 seed. I dont know about you, but Id much rather be a 12 seed and be locked into the second round, than compete for a spot in the ACTUAL tournament.
