He probably seen that he was projected to be a 7th round pickand decided to stay to increase his draft prospects.

Smart thinking.

RE: Bearcats Projected Draft Picks
This year I really only see Travis Kelce and George Winn as a legitimate candidates to be drafted. But in the 2014 draft the Bearcats could have quite a few selections: Blair, Bujnoch, Drane, O'Donnell, McClung.

Do you have a link for that? I'd heard that he was granted the additional year, but must have missed confirmation that he's staying.

Everything I've read has him coming back... I don't think he has said anything, but a projected 7th round pick never leaves if he has eligibility back unless he's an idiot. His brother has money to support his family, so that isn't even in the equation. He'll be back.

This was always my assumption, but I recall threads from a few months ago where folks were talking about buzz that he might enter the draft anyway.

RE: Bearcats Projected Draft Picks
I only see Kelce as someone who will make any sort of mark in the NFL. Winn, while tougher and better than I imagined, will get obliterated running the way he does in the NFL. You don't wanna take direct hits with regularity by LBs as big as those guys.

Walt might be cleared to play, but no team will take a chance drafting a guy who has his condition. The risk is too great. I honestly don't know if he could even get insurance.

RE: Bearcats Projected Draft Picks
As for the list Kelce is going to test off the charts and be drafted highly. But the two best prospects on the team this year were Deven Drane and Eric Lefeld. Lefeld in particular has a great chance to be a first round pick
