Exclamation Looks like Courtney Foy won't be coming to UAB
I posted this in another thread but thought it could use its own...

http://highschoolsports.al.com/news/arti...t_hssports

Foy was not at the event. He mother, Tyesha Cooper, accepted the award on his behalf. Foy left Midfield and enrolled at Co-Lin Community College in Mississippi. He needed to improve his academics.

Foy will complete his high school diploma requirements at Co-Lin and also work on a junor college degree. According to Midfield coach Rod Isaac, the move made sense for Foy because it speeds up his ability to join a major college program in December 2014 instead of the summer of 2015.

The one-time UAB commit told Al.com this season if he'd gotten his grades in order he would've eventually signed with Clemson or Oklahoma State.

So, it seems Foy won't be at UAB this Fall...if ever.
