I hate to make a next year post but, when is the last time Memphis had 3 bigs
like Black, Shaq, and Nichols on the same team? I'm thinking maybe the year of Wise, Barron, and Massie 2001-2002?

Dorsey, Dozier and Taggart (2007-08) were pretty good.

Shaq has only shown flashes so far, Nichols hasn't played a game yet so we don't know how good he will be and tarik is just slightly above average

I remember one of these threads about Tarik, Simpson, Fero.
Then there was another one about Tarik, Fero, Shaq.
I think I will wait until next season to see them play before getting really excited.

Best 2 frontcourts that I can remember.....
Vaughn, Lorenzen, Ced -- all 3 were McD AAs (I think)
Lee, Bedford, Baskerville
Gray and Alexander werent too shabby either.

Shaq is good. Nichols is going to be good. Black is good now, but I get the feeling he won't be around next year. Hope he is.

Shaq is good. Nichols is going to be good. Black is good now, but I get the feeling he won't be around next year. Hope he is.

Shaq has only been good in flashes. He's played like a freshman a lot this season. And while I wouldn't call Black average, I'd say he's above average, I wouldn't call him great or even very good to this point, either. Not when he has yet to crack 6 rpg basically playing center.
