So with Mercer, Stetson, Jacksonville, Kennesaw, ETSU and now UNF all either playing, adding or considering football, does the A-Sun think about adding football to its sponsored sports?

If only they were that forward thinking. I think adding football would be the only way to get this league stable.

dont conference commissioners serve at the whim of the college presidents? it would probably come down to a vote among the presidents and gumbart would just have to handle it

Serious question... With the concerns mentioned about the OVC travel, and membership of CAA and SoCon, if the A-Sun adds football...do we stay?

No, I think we are too far down the path of leaving the ASUN for us to stay, plus part of the problem is the lack of name recognition among the fans of the teams in this league. That wont change if they add football

If I'm the A-Sun Commish, I am doing something proactive other than to allow everyone to feel that departure is my best option.
