RE: Mitch Kimble - 2013 QB
Wow. This kid impresses me, but not to the degree that I would think schools like Syracuse or NC State would be interested. This is a kid from middle-south-west Illinois that is playing what? 3A Football? I would think those schools would not even have him on their radar. Yes I know both schools have NIU coaches, but still, I would think they had their eyes on four star recruits.

This is either shows that our recruit targets are now on par with the next level, or both programs are looking anywhere for a diamond in the rough.

This is terrible news! I'm probably his biggest fan on this board and I don't want anyone to steal him away. This kid is legit!

His school is a 5a school in Illinois. Mitch took a team with the same roster from the year before when they were 2-7 and went 10-1. He did this with very young and inexperienced players. He did this because of his off season work and effort. There was only one difference from the year before and that was his commitment, understanding of the game, and his play making.

Someone close to Jacoby Brissett, said that he will transfer to NC State. He's one hell of a talent and will have 2 years of eligibility left. That's good news for NIU, trying to keep Kimble at NIU.

Have you seen Jeff Driskell play? Brissett cannot be that good if he can't beat out Driskell for the starting job. Lots of ****** QB play in Gainesville since the almighty one left.

He's gotta be better than Kimble or at least in Kimble's eyes "Oh man, they got a back up Florida QB who was a 4 star out of high school, my PT chance is less likely. I think I'll honor my commitment to NIU."

My heart kind of sank after watching Kimble's tape compared to Strevelers.

If we had a more aggressive AD they would do that.

You would prefer an escalation of expenditures like a pompous new scoreboard. A monument to NIU's Orange Bowl day, which will require greater upkeep and a more expensive upgrade in ten years time.
Revenue- Expenses = Gross Profit
( - ) - ( + ) = a double negative

You realize you said our AD should send tape of a player from another school to one of our verbals to try and prove a point right?

No. How about aggressive marketing to show that great H.S. players who chose big name schools often do not get the playtime and coaching they expect and have to play towards much higher expectations.

I suggest we name the new scoreboard after Sterling1Man. We can even put up a picture of him before and after the game, and between plays.

Or, we can just following the naming of the "New Residence Hall" and call the new scoreboard "Pompous New Scoreboard".
