I understand almost nothing about this thread. It's mildly interesting that Fedora's kid is at USM. It shouldn't provoke much rage either way. Contrary to what Stinkfist wrote, I think most fans have a pretty rational attitude about Fedora.
I will say that the thread title is annoying, but it's not worth shedding huge rage tears about.

Hmmm? I have to admit that I read the OP a couple times now and don't get the anger. In fact, I kind of chuckled when I read it the first time. Second time, I was looking for something I missed that set you off. Still didn't see it. The statement that his family is still in Hattiesburg is just a fact. Why would that upset anyone? The statement about him donating money to Southern Miss, was what made me chuckle. However, I must add that I have 2 kids that went to 2 different universities, and they both ask for money from me all the time - on top of request from Southern Miss. So what is the big deal if a Dad was asked to give to the university his son attends - and who knows, maybe his daughter will too. Of course, I don't think it would be smart to make it public if he decided he wanted to, considering he is coaching somewhere else - that would be stupid. I don't even like the fact that JH attends aTm games and is seen wearing aTm shirts - but his kid goes there, so I can live with that. But if it were made public he was giving large donations, I'd be a little upset. Point is, if Fedora was to give money, we'd probably never know, but the fact that someone makes a comment that "maybe" he will, is not a big deal.

Yeah I knew Fedora would move on because it is his job, and when you are young enough to improve your place in you career field you do so. When Fedora came to USM it was known if he was successful he would be making USM a stepping stone to his next level job, and so why should anyone be upset? I remember Jeff Bower refused much better paying and prestigious jobs to stay at USM, which I am proud of the fact he did that, but in the end he was dismissed in a somewhat less respectful manner than he deserved.
I apologize to the board for my insensitive posts...in my currently sober state I realize I overreacted. I sometimes get a tad sensitive to negative comments from our fan base and took op's last statement the wrong way.....was obviously one of those times it would've been better to walk away.....again, I apologize

It looks like Sun Devil Stadium will be closed down soon and the ASU games might be played in Glendale at the Univ. of Phoenix Stadium while S.D. Stadium is given a facelift. I am not sure when that will start but it is going to happen pretty soon, and from what people tell me (I keep planning on going to an ASU game but haven't made it yet) that the stadium is in pretty bad condition and long overdue for a makeover.
