I think teams should just be allowed to schedule an extra game with another team if they win enough. Determine a host somehow, let the game be a home game for whichever team deserves it, and let it roll.

Looks like we sold as many as Florida...I guess we are big time (joking)

But still, hopefully this stops the argument over one silly number. I'ts not going to be held against us...anywhere....anyhow.

I'm actually a big fan of the higher seen HOSTING the game like in the NFL. Of course it would have to be for playoffs....not bowls. I think thats how the MAC championship should work too.

Neutral site games suck. With TV as good and tempting as it is, earning home games is a great incentive and doesn't discourage fans (who already have convenient options) from showing up.

I think occasional neutral games are okay, but fans of 6-6 teams aren't going to travel half the country for a meaningless game. Nor should they, really.

Quote:The Big Ten commissioner said he wants the conference bowl lineup to become "more national" than its current glut of Florida games; he wants to keep fans from becoming fatigued by repeat trips to the same destination.

Anyone here fatigued after going to Detroit three years in a row? I hope I can make the trip three more consecutive years.

Do you think Wisconsin fans are tired of going to the Rose Bowl twice in row? Maybe tired of losing it, but not tired of going.

I think fans know when their bowl trip is legendary, as opposed to just a consolation prize, no matter what the hype says. That's why so many Huskie fans made the trip to Miami as opposed to FSU fans, and TCU brought many more fans to the Rose Bowl to play Wisconsin than the to Poinsetta bowl to play NIU.

Nope. Good point. It's a relatively easy and inexpensive trip and every year we get more aquainted with Detroit and have a better time.
