They would definitely have to win the CUSA tournament. I think that it is a foregone conclusion that CUSA is a one bid league and that bid is coming from winning the CUSA tournament.

Memphis' RPI is steadily climbing. I think the Tigers get in as an at large.

We will see.

Clanton getting away with absolutely steamrollling Sampson.......can't see how that was a blocking call....Sampson has every right to that spot he was standing at.....

Not sure if you're serious but that is funny

Why would that be so hard to believe? USM made the NCAA tournament last year and they were not even that good; or have you already forgotten that USM needed help from the CUSA officiating crew just to get by ECU at the CUSA tournament?

Hell UAB made the NCAA tournament 2 years ago; and they stunk too. CUSA didn't even bother helping UAB in it's game against ECU; and UAB was one and done.

I have seen USM play a few games this year and they don't look like anything special.

I think to get a NCAA look we'd, at worst, have to get into the CUSA Final / win it. IF we didn't win it we'd need to be 80% in conference games because of our mostly crappy OOC schedule earlier in the year. NIT could still be game for us if we get > .500 in league play.

well what would our RPI be right now if we had beaten Cheaters, UMASS, Charlotte, and Campbell? that's 3 solid road wins...plus taking care of business at home. I would think we'd be in the NIT range at least.

USM had a very good season last year...finished with a Top 30 RPI (#26).

USM went 3-3 vs Top 50 RPI teams and 6-3 vs Teams ranked 51-100...while having one of their best years ever in CUSA play (#2 finish, 11-5 conf record).

Don't think anyone is saying or thought that USM was a Top 10 team last year...but USM did have a very good season last year and were a solid team...and to suggest otherwise is just foolish.

2011 USM was 2010 UAB. The RPI's in CUSA are completely gerri-rigged; which is why CUSA schools don't get out of the 1st round of the NCAA tournament. OOC games don't lie fellows.
