He's made no secret over the years of how much he hates Bobby Knight. Today he and Matt Stark were making fun of Knight and his confusion in the Ky-Vandy game last night concerning the game vs shot clock. It was obvious that Knight got confused about which clock was which, but he is 80 something years old. Wolo acted like he has never made a mistake on air before and suggested Knight needed to see a neurologist. They said Knight was a terrible analyst (which is laughable coming from him).

Wolo should probably see a neurologist after every game. As mush stuff as he screws up.

Well, it was pretty stupid of Knight. He's looking at the replay screen, shot clock approaching zero and about 17 seconds left on the clock.

I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt and say he made a mistake considering his age and how much he has forgotten about basketball compared to a hack like Wolo.

Both guys are poor at what they do these days.

It was horrible last night. Not sure how many games Bobby has left in him. No reason to ignore it just b/c Wolo sucks.

I was watching when that happened. Whoever Knight's broadcast partner was last night did a good job of 'gently' informing him which clock was which. Even then it took a little time for it to sink in with Knight. Knight's broadcast partner, can't remember who it was, put on the velvet gloves and handled it pretty well.

Wolo: "Now that's calling the kettle purple."

Bobby Knight could have 4 strokes and would still know more about bball than Wolo ever will. I didnt listen to DW today, but if he critiqued anyone's commentary, its laughable.

It is miracle anyone gets anything right in that gym. Clocks are in a bad spot if you are calling the game plus you are below the floor, too. Not making excuses for Knight, but that is a crappy place to be doing a game for broadcasters. As for Wolo, he doesn't have a worry. He has his "pals" taking care of him and his job. Being less than professional or being an ass to his coworkers is no big deal.

Someone should start a petition.

Yea, Knight seemed a little confused, but he initially got it right from the live viewing, calling the shot late. That was the biggest issue, Vandy won that game, UK got a gift, shot was clearly after the shot clock ran out. Even Calipari seemed to indicate it when he walked toward the Vandy coach, shrugging his shoulders, almost in apology.

Knight also still sees the big picture, understands ALL possessions are critical in a close game and said it essential/important to get a basket or foul shots with every possession in the last 2 mins.
