At the game in Richmond, I felt an obvious air of perceived arrogance from more than one UVa fan. While I loathe the poolside summertime Va Tech protagonists, I could easily be swayed into a greater hatred of the UVa arrogance. Definitely, our men's BB program had been more relevant in the past decade, and one could make the argument that our football team has more hits on the radar than a moribound Uva Program during the last 5 years.
Their loss to us is the equivalent to RPI-ebola. Every mention of their season will be critiqued with a loss to the absolute wosrt squad in ODU history, which is winless in the 20+ RPI conference ranked CAA.
We are never this bad, so if we are....let's relish the moment for the decimation we have caused on a state program that has too often proclaimed themselves too established to schedule us home and home. THe stench of the UVA loss to ODU will last the entire season, and hopefully be a herpes sore on UVA's NCAA resume. Those elitist bastards deserve nothing less.
Consider it a parting gift from Blaine. Times and coaches will change, but that win in Richmond will be our best memory of this season, so let's enjoy it and take pride every time some ****** from ESPN discusses UVA's tourney resume.
lol hell yeah smitty. those UVA fans were so arrogant at the dump. Loved every minute of beating them.
I was there and it was awesome to see their dejected faces!!! I cannot believe how that game did not change the season around...

That UVa game had the excitement of a first round NCAA game for me. And with a striking similarity to our Tourney experience/expectations, we won only one game... and it was "Hello" offseason.

They looked friggin fantastic in the game last night....I cannot fathom how we got out of that one with a W.
They are easily the best squad we have played this year. Should be ranked next week if they don't lose this week.

The perks of being in the ACC: You can go 0-3 (one of which is a sub-300 RPI team) against the godawful CAA and still have a shot at an at-large.

They lost to us, Delaware and George mason.
I don't think they are getting in the NCAA tourney. Nor should they be ranked.

They definitely don't deserve a bid at this time.

UVA is likely to be on the outside looking in for the NIT.

Disagree. Have you guys been watching their games? They are smoking some good teams, and getting by the really good ones.
The three CAA losses are bad for sure, but by season's end I think they will be in.

They also lost to wake and Clemson.
Odu is a sub 320 rpi loss
They are nowhere near in the tourney right now.
Nc state is the only sure fire NCAA tourney team they've beaten so far.
Unc, Wisconsin and Florida state are decent wins but not great.
The horrible losses absolutely outweigh their best wins as of today.
A lot of bball left to be played though.

Yeah, they can definitely still work their way in, but as of now, they are out.
