other schools that wind up in CUSA. I welcome you all. Disregard any posts from fans of schools leaving CUSA. They have convinced themselves they are better than the new schools entering CUSA. They have every right to feel that way, even if it is based on fantasy and not fact. The new BE will basically be the old CUSA. Nothing more, nothing less. Boise would not have said F'U if that wasn't fact. I look forward to playing you all. Trips to Dallas, Nashville, Miami, Ruston, etc excite me.
Together we will rise to new heights.
Go CUSA

Same from me. Looking forward to it. This lineup has HUGE upside. Assuming we stay together, it will be interesting to see how the conference develops over the next 10 years.

Can't wait for the road trip to Hattiesburg. That goes for Norfolk, Huntington, Charlotte, Birmingham, etc as well. I think everyone will find that MT fans travel very, very well on the road. We'll have beers waiting on you in the Grove whenever your team makes the trip up.

This Conference is as good as any from the group of 5. Lining up to be the tallest midget is not on my tondo list. An un defeated CUSA team has just as good a shot as any other for a BCS bowl. Don't let anyone tell you any different.

In all honesty, we have equally replaced all of the teams leaving (unless we lost Tulsa). The thing that concerns me is the lack of name recognition. We have either very stupid or very stingy "fans" and names like ODU, MTSU, UNT etc mean nothing to them even though they are better than Memphis and Tulane

Back to the original post though.... I'm with ya all the way.
I'm looking at the positives of this ncusa as a Marshall fan. We now have a much more regional friendly conference. I look forward to the trips to ODU, MTSU, Charlotte, etc. I also look forward to seeing how many fans you guys will bring to Huntington.
How many fans do you guys seriously think you will bring your first trip to Huntington?

I used to respect you. No longer. That post was totally uncalled for. Your insecurity is overflowing.

somehow saying something positive about the BE now equals saying something negative about CUSA.

What the OP of this thread said is essentially correct. Those leaving have convinced themselves of something that is mostly a fantasy they are living in their minds. Too many of them are not living in the now, but in the what was. The rest is from never never land.

I don't think they are wrong. They are the biggest budget programs, and that is one of the biggest factors when comparing college athletic programs.
But that does not mean that the remaining programs, and the new programs, can't rise to that level and beyond.
