I see they're starting to update the online roster. The following names have disappeared:

RB Jamal Womble
RB Leighton Settle
OL Dustin Adams
P Jordan Gruettner
S Conner Gavin

Also, Perez Ford is listed as a running back. Maybe it was always this way and they never changed the online roster to show him at D-end? Can't remember.

IIRC Gavin was on scholarship.

Interesting that they would update the roster but not take the SRs off.

For RB's we have Daniels, Harris, and Bowers. Huff is very good recruit for the position. Between those four we should be ok.

Also this assumes the 2 kids who played RB at Aurora Christian will end up on defense. Mayes at DB and Bougaman at LB. Draco Smith from Mt. Carmel is another RB who probably moves to DB. Just guessing.

Spencer's a RB, too. We may have a juco on campus already. We typically hear about them on signing day.

I know Sean Folliard is enrolled already for this semester. It's good to have a freshman LB getting workouts done with the team already

I think Lincoln Howard is playing tackle now. Not surprising considering his size.

With the shortage of big defensive linemen, Howard should move to the defensive side of the ball.

6'5" may be a little too tall to be an interior D-lineman. That build screams OT to me.

Big D lineman are hard to come by for MAC level schools. That where the clear advantage is usually when we play AQ schools

I like the 285 lbs a lot. A guy that is 6'5" is going to have a tough time playing D-tackle, though. Unless he is extraordinarily athletic, he's going to play too high to use that poundage to his advantage. If he is extraordinarily athletic, he's at LSU or Alabama.

A 6'5", 285 lb freshman can easily bulk up to 315-320 with good work in the weight room. That makes him a Wisconsin-sized O-lineman and a b*tch to deal with no matter who is across from him.
