Had a guy at work tell me Birmingham would have an Nfl team soon. Have any of you guys heard anything? I haven't been back in town long so I am out of the loop.

I know the jags and the Bills have been talking about moving.

Tell him he's an idiot and go on with your business. Alabama doesn't care about professional football enough to warrant a team. Nobody is going to take that risk.

& the most vocal against it would be the gumps.

Like anyone would move an NFL team here to play at Legion Field.

Will they play at regions park?

Or maybe we can just have a dome built for them.

That shouldn't be too difficult should it?

They are gonna be owned by the same guy that's bringing the NBA to the BJCC.

Therefore it is called a "multi-purpose" facility.

We already have a couple of play-for-pay teams in this state. There's not enough room for another.

A guy at work used to tell extremely unfunny dead hooker jokes.

Then he got married and normaled up significantly.

A win for him. A win for society in general, and hookers in particular.

The only loser I can see here is his wife, but she appears happy enough, so there you go.

A guy at work told me that most UAB fans are really Alabama fans or Auburn fans. Then I told him a lot of UAB fans actually hate Alabama, or at least have a passionate disinterest in them. It blew his mind.

This happened last night. Go Blazers.

I had someone assume last week that I liked Alabama because I had a UAB shirt & cap on.
