Actually shot better % from the floor than they did from the foul line.

The thing that worries me though is our fouls and turnovers each game. Tonight we had 17 of each while Rice only had 11 fouls and 13 turnovers. That's what beat us in our 4 losses and kept most of our games close this year. If we can't get those numbers down, I like our chances to make another trip to the NCAA's. However, the better teams in C-USA will make us pay and could cause heartbreak later in the year

I was watching/listening to the game on the internet and the Rice radio guy made the comment that USM had made 18-22 shots to start the 2nd half.

It was over 70% until about 2 mins left when all the starters left the floor. Its hard to shoot that good against air much less another team.
