Discount being offered on the NIU Football Book

Just ordered a copy. Woman I spoke with on the phone said the book comes out March 1st.

Ordered mine too. Even though I have 4 books I bought that I haven't read yet (still working on one). I'll get to them eventually.

Anyone get an order invoice from the University of Chicago Press? It was my book order through the NIU Press. The invoice had a zero cost and said it would not be available until 03/13, which we all knew when we ordered it. Weird.

I got something similar. 0 cost, and mine said there was no release date. There was a $1 hold transaction on my credit and she said it wouldn't be charged until they sent it out.

You can get the discount here by using promo code "orange bowl." Don't remember if it worked with or without the space.

Dammit, I didn't see a $1 charge come through and I emailed it in 2 weeks ago. I am going to fax it in now. Worse case I get 6 books :)

I ordered online today and requested and received an email confirmation.

I wouldn't worry. I'm sure that there will always be plenty of these books available - if and when they finally come out. There will also be outlets where you'll get them on sale.
