I have no idea how we did it. Holtz had good connections I guess and they had a good history together. I just don't know who's out there we can get that will be as good as Hud.

Holtz was personal friends with him from ND...that, plus its Minnesota....the money may also have similar at that time.

How did Tyrone get to be DC at Ole Miss? Let's put it this way. Spurrier talked USM into hiring Ellis Johnson too.

Hud graduated from Notre Dame in '90. Skip was back at UND (after graduating in 86) in 1990. I assume they had a good relationship then.
