It will be nice to get Tarik Black back to add another inside presence. That helps with the perimeter defense as well. UT started hitting those threes when Shaq picked up his 4th foul and MEMPHIS had to pack it inside. That gave the Vols a few extra feet of free space. Amazing how a team that hit 28% from 3 hits about 50%. But...that is basketball.

The team will know Xavier is a big game and we will be up for that game. I think any losses are more probable against UTEP or a cupcake conf road game that we don't really show up for.

I'm very aware. I think you simply underestimate the difficulty of playing on the road. Hell, we lost to a TERRIBLE UTEP team at FedExForum last year.

We will be the biggest game of the year for every C-USA opponent that we play. It will be their biggest home crowd and they'll all be ready to play us. History will tell you that we'll likely lose a couple of those games even though we have better players.

We came close to losing some with the best team we've had in the last 25 years (in a one-bid C-USA.) I'm with you -- the odds don't favor a sweep, now or ever.

I'm glad you are confident, but I believe you just made his point for him. anybody can beat anybody on any given night, especially if you are the road team.
