6) Justin Fuente recently said he would be OK with Memphis football moving to Division 2."

Oh I see ---- you want exact matches only.

People talking about dropping to FCS isn't even in the same ballpark as people making claims that the AoB is considering moving to football to FCS and that the football coach has said that he's OK with it.

One is people running their mouths on a message board. The other two would be substantive (and falsifiable) claims that the university is actually making moves in that direction. Huge difference.

RE: Top 6 Things I "learned" from Vols fans after the loss on Friday
After a presentation of facts, one Vol fan recanted his statement about Martin making it to the NCAA tournament, but then felt the need to justify himself:

"I was wrong about Martin making to the NCAA tourney as a head coach. In 2011 when they won the MVC they were beat in the finals of the MVC tourney and not offered a bid. HOWEVER, Martin made it to the Elite 8 once and three times to the second round of the NCAA tournament as an assistant head coach under Gene Kady at Perdue from 2000-2008. He also made it to the tourney twice as a player at Perdue."

Great job of spelling Purdue by the way. I suppose I could've then argued that Josh has NCAA championship experience at Arizona and coached an AAU team to a championship. Would've been about as relevant.

Not surprisingly, my revelation that Cincy has 6 final four appearances and back-to-back national championships in their history was met with silence.

Facts are not relevant to the irrational...

Well now I know who to go to if I need a good deal on chicken breasts.

So show me where I said any different. In fact, it's clearly stated otherwise. But the point, which for some reason you really, REALLY want to belabor, is that there are folks on the board, day in and out, that say very similar things. Got it now?

OK, then.

Their fans are still under the impression that Bruce Pearle is still their coach and they are any good in mens basketball. Their new coach is implementing a different type of system and still aren't winning any quality games including against us. The only reason they had a run is that our players took their foot off the gas a little but like the better team that we are we still kept our lead. Did UTK lead at any point in the game? No, that is what happens when you are an inferior team even in your home court. Sorry UTK maybe next year.... oh wait that's it on the contract.

Should have asked him if he knows who ended Kwanzo's college career.

Well, they did beat ranked UConn and Florida and lost to top-ranked Kentucky by only three points at Knoxville. So their home court did provide them some magical performances. They were world-beaters at home, it seemed. On the road? Not so much.
