For those that may be unaware, SMU is coached by the legendary Larry Brown. Tulsa is coached by former Kansas great Danny Manning. Larry Brown won his only NCAA national title in 1988 at Kansas. Danny Manning was his star player and MVP of the tournament that year.

Tonight's game will be broadcast on Fox Sports Network.

I remember it well. The Jayhawks were a 6th seeded team. To reach the F4, they beat 11th seed Xavier, 14th seed Murray State, 7th seed Vanderbilt, and 4th seed Kansas State. I wonder if any team has reached the F4 against four opponents seeded lower than that. Possible but I doubt it.

Then the F4 was held at Kemper Arena in KC, Mo., about 40 miles from the KU campus in Lawrence.

I'm hoping we will have enough bigs to play (injury bug). Hope they can stay out of foul trouble giving us a chance for a win. Go Hurricane!

Yeah, we better hope none of players trip and twist an ankle getting off the bus or we won't have enough players to play the game!!!

We don't have any bigs this year so don't worry about that

Tulsa will destroy SMU.

Tulsa has 5 true freshmen who have all played a lot. 3 were starters until 1 got hurt. Very young team, with 3 of our 5 Forward/Centers out with injuries. Every game will be an adventure for Tulsa until we get one or two guys back. Fun team to watch, hope we make it a good game tonight.

To be fair, I have more confidence in Larry Brown and 8 players than Doh and 13.

Great point ! BTW, I think Tulsa fans would say we have more confidence in Danny Manning and 8 players than Wojcik and 13 !

Tulsa hot, SMU cold. Game went from even in first 10 minutes to Tulsa doubling us up at halftime.

Tulsa shot 45% in 1st half
SMU shot 26%

There's your difference

Swilling for Tulsa is stroking it from downtown. SMU may want to get a guy in his face.
