This young man is just amazing. He can run like a deer, avoid tacklers, and throw the ball accurately. He seems relatively small, but they say he wears size 16 shoes and has hands big enough to swallow a basketball. He could still grow taller in the next few years.

He reminds me a lot of Drew Brees, only more talented. And he will graduate two and a half years early according to what I've heard. If he has another year anywhere near this one, he'll be the number one player in the draft. Just incredible talent.

Does the name Tarkenton come to mind? Can you believe Texas wanted him to play defensive back?

I haven't been watching football quite as long as Doc, and I've seen a lot of good quarterbacks over the years. I would classify Johnny as one of the best, and certainly one of the most exciting. He is a heck of a quarterback. I certainly think he was most deserving of the Heisman award.

Fran Tarkenton and Doug Flutie come to mind.
