IRS just released the following details about their transition to Scout/Fox Sports Next [please make note of the dates in bold]:
"
We will be transitioning to Fox Sports Next / Scout.com on Thursday, January 3 [this essentially implies that the insiderunnersports.com URL will start redirecting to http://utsa.scout.com on that day].
All content will begin to be posted then.
This forum [IRS has it currently with the URL http://utsatailgaters.forumflash.com] will be discontinued on Sunday, January 6.
We ask that all members go register in the UTSA Scout.com forum now. Registration is free.
You can register now by going to
http://utsa.scout.com/ clicking on forums link and then clicking on the SIGN UP link at the top of the page.
Registration is FREE and allows access to the free message board. Premium content is available for a monthly fee.
All members who register do so first for free, then have the option of reviewing subscription options.
Subscription options are as follows:
$3.75/month for an annual pass
$4.16/month for a 6-month pass
$4.95/month for a 1-month pass
We are working hard to make this transition as smoothly as possible. Please bear with is during this time. If you have any questions or feedback, please contact us. [though twitter and their message board will be fine, you can also contact them by their listed e-mail addresses: name@insiderunnersports.com where you would put either antonio, jj, or eric as the name]"
A few details to note:
Some of you may already have a Scout/FSN account; if you ever posted on the Scout WAC message board, you already have an account. However, you will need to tie your account to the IRS Scout/FSN team site by becoming a paid subscriber in order to access IRS's premium content (which will be indicated with a boxed "IN" symbol).
Also, even though IRS didn't mention it, note that when you first subscribe, the first 7 days are free (you will not be charged within that 7-day period until afterwards). This is very much similar to Rivals where they offer a free trial when you first subscribe and then they charge you once the free trial is over (unless you cancel beforehand).
