The program is now coached by guys with NFL experience.

Tulane has an immediate need for an experienced starter at QB.

Tulane plays in a competitive league and has some decent talent on Offense to work with.

Tulane offers an excellent education. It has a very good business school.

There are only so many positions open to play QB in College Football so even a very good QB will find himself on the bench or looking to play elsewhere because there's just only so many open roster spots to start at QB.

*Feel free to fill in any other reasons why a kid like Nick Montana might come to Tulane*

I am very excited about having him as a part of our team. His additions helps us in a number of ways.

I agree with the above. Maybe part of it is that his choice of Tulane is because after he’s finished playing college football he may actually have a plan to do something productive with his life outside of football. Maybe, just maybe, his thought process is a degree from a top 50 university might be something he can use when his playing days are over.

As unfathomable as it may be to some, there is actually a life that continues on after the last down of a college football career is played. Crazy I know, but it’s the truth!

Between the money he can make in the NFL and that his father could pass onto him, yeah it might be a good idea to have a degree in Business (if that interests you).

Tulane is also getting 2 transfers from LSU that will be able to play right away. Chris Davenport (6'4 330) was a 5 star Defensive Lineman out of high school before LSU moved him to OLine. He will play DL at Tulane. Luke Muncie started this season at linebacker before losing his spot once he fell ill.

Signed,
Marcus Jordan

Maybe you missed it but Marcus was practically a 3 year starter for UCF during his 3 yr career at UCF.

Marcus lead UCF in Conf game scoring as a Freshman.

Marcus lead UCF in overall scoring as a Soph.

Marcus was the 2nd leading scorer as a Jr.

That doesn't even take in effect that Marcus lead UCF to its biggest wins in the history of their program (i.e. beat UF, Miami, UCONN, Memphis).
