Clearly he isn't very bright, but I'll give him some credit for being one of the few Alabama fans with internet access.

The above comment is so much better if you have the theme from "Dueling Banjo's" playing while reading.

He seems to always be in the right spot on the field to make a tackle or break up a pass. And he hits as hard as anyone I've seen at NIU in the last decade. He showed he belonged on that field with FSU as much as anyone. He was just as good as any of those guys.

I think he takes bad angles at times...he has the speed and athletic ability to make up for it, but on a few of the big runs he could have taken much better angles.

I'm not saying he didn't belong, he was great, was just saying there's still more room for improvement.

I don't know quite a few helmet shots if you ask me... are they illegal -to spear with your helmet this is.

SEC Refs let the players play. The hits where the player lowers his head to get a few more yards and the defender hits helmet to helmet is not called that often. There is no way for the defender to prevent all of those. Think about it, they cannot hit high, so they hit waist to lower chest and the offensive player lowers his head, who's to blame?

There was a play a few years back when Austin Collie suffered another concussion while Daryl Smith of the Jaguars tackled him. Everyone thought it was helmet to helmet, but in slo-mo you can see Daryl Smith went high and Collie knocked himself out by running into Smith's arm and chest. What was the defender supposed to do? He went for a waist high tackle and Collie went low into him.

Yes, there are some intentional helmet to helmet hits, but if an offensive player goes low and the defensive player goes low, helmets will hit.

FSU is taught to play hard defense, look at the Miami FSU game a few years back, FSU LB Nigel Bradham was ejected for launching into the defenseless player. Replays showed he had both feet on the ground and hit the receiver in the chest. The ACC stated a day later that the call was incorrect and he should not have been ejected. Should he have waited until the player caught the ball and landed and then tried to tackle him?

don't know if you'll come back but the one that I thought was a bit speary was the hit on the fumbled reverse. Our guys was going down in fact I think his knee was already down, when a FSU guy helmet goes into our guys helmet area.. it was not a direct hit but it definitely look like helmet on helmet and could have contributed to the fumble. I know if I was hit that hard like that I don't think I could hold any of my balls.. :)
