Strange Stat...Shooting Percentage in our 4 toughest games

Strange Stat...Shooting Percentage in our 4 toughest games
VCU 53% (kenpom 12th defense)
Minnesota 44%
Louisville 52% (kenpom 1st defense)
Tennessee 56% on the road (kenpom 32nd defense)

We have shot much better than normal in all these games accept Minnesota. It is just strange that we shoot better against the better teams.

Nice observation. IMO, this shows that we are a solid running team that can get easy buckets in transition. The key is valuing the ball at the same time and not giving it to the other team. We got easy buckets against VCU and Louisville, but turned the ball over way too much.

yup the difference between Louisville/VCU and UT is about 15 TOs a game.
