did anyone talk to any students that took the bus

yes....we were "tailgating" with someone who came down in the student bus. He said it took 30 hours (heard earlier 24 or 26 hours). He said the mood wasn't the best, and that there were no plugs for phones etc. One of the buses (his, i think) broke down too. that is about all i remember.

I sure do admire every single student that made that bus trip.

Think about how many farts happened during that bus trip.

Some of them were booing FSU buses when they pulled into the stadium. At least they brought the excitement.

I saw one posting by a friend that the bus they took had WiFi and charges guess it depend on what bus you got on.

Farts and shitz.

I took the bus down. The way there took about 30 hours. The way back only took 25 hours and was much more enjoyable. The hotel was great too. We stayed in the Embassy Suites in Ft. Lauderdale. The rough bus ride there was totally worth it.

The NIU student section seemed great and enthusiastic from my view up in 419. I immediately got pumped up upon entering the stadium when I saw some FSU players running back to the tunnel after light warmups and got relentlessly boo'd by our students on their way in. Sort of a "Yea, we're here, **** you" moment from my perspective. What a cool night.
