Calipari operated fine without having Calkins in his corner.

RC Johnson would talk to Calkins whenever, and how did that help him?

I spent the last year listening to Parrish on the drive home, Calkins is often a guest. It doesn't take long to realize that Geoff has a very high opinion of himself, and if you don't agree with him you're an idiot.

After the latest 30 minute discussion on their show about strippers and hangovers, I've moved down to 56....a big SEC bias, but not an insult to your intelligence. I would hope Pastner and Bowen both ignore Geoff.

Pastner can't possibly know every detail of what Bowen is working on in all sports, especially right now when no one knows what any sport's schedule is going to look like next year.

I thought I remember us playing them with Deangelo and him sitting out because he didn't feel 100%...and TW not being too pleased with it.

That was his senior year. They dodged us the senior year of Wimprine. We had the better team that tear and knew it.

02-13-banana That game was in Knoxville and I really believe we would win that game if DeAngelo played. I think he offered to go in later during the game but TW was pissed at him and would not let him.

I believe you are correct on that. I think we would have won too. IIRC we only lost by a score of 20-13 or something like that.

RE: Andy Katz take on the Bowen mess!!!
I long ago came to the conclusion that Memphis is the center of the universe, since the New Madrid fault can be seen running across the jukebox dance floor at Earnestine & Hazel's, but I have now decided that Memphis is also the Drama Capital of the World, in so many ways.

Carry on. But.....

GO TO HELL, UT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And yeah, I've been drinking..........04-coffee

Good writing by Katz. Fair, even, and non-judgemental.

I've heard with my own ears Wolken call Bowen an "ass", and Parrish called him an "idiot" yesterday.

Are you drunk?

why would you say that?

We are NEVER EVER getting asked to join the SEC. Move on to another dream like time travel or unicorns.. that's more realistic.

Most likely giving him the benefit of the doubt.....due to probably never having heard of him prior to yesterday....

Dear Bowen,
Not a good idea.

Repeat that as often as you like but some still can't hear it. Especially with our status within the Big East changing daily it seems.

Bowen only needs to keep Pastner in the loop for men's basketball....shouldn't be that difficult.

He said he would after the Oxford mess but apparently for some reason he didn’t.

It had been publicly announced that this year was the FINAL with the UTK series in bball. Now we learn that Bowen is working on a new deal and never let Josh and probably none of the other coaches know.

That’s totally unacceptable and very unprofessional.
