Keys for 2013

1. Development of Jordan Lynch as a passer, getting the ball in the hands of lewis, daniels, etc 5-7 yards down field and allowing them to gain yardage

2. Who steps up for the WRs: can Brescacin, Glasper replace and improve upon Martel Moores position. Can Da'Ron Brown get to that next level he flashed(seemed to take a step back this year)

3. We need RBs..change of pace Womble type(except a guy who shows up and practices)

4. Tackling has to improve..

5. How does the offensive play calling work next year, will Carey be one of those guys who is a HC who also calls the plays(i would be happy with that)...

6. Have to beat Iowa and Purdue, no exceptions.

7. Really excited for next year..thought this year would be good, but next year can be better..another year of Oline development, 2nd year starting for Lynch...don't really lose anyone... BCS again(Bowl Camping Huskies)..

Great points! I'll add two.

8. Replace Progar, Baxter, and Jefferson. That's going to be tough to do.
9. Develop our young offensive line (get them bigger, stronger, and more athletic) so we can win a BCS bowl if we get in with an unbeaten record.

Does anyone know what's going on with the Offensive Coordinator spot? Was someone promoted?

The Purdue game could top to the NU game in 05 as far as nunber of Huskie fans...if we defeat Iowa and don't choke before then.

14. Have a strong recruiting class next month that continues to close the gap between us and the big boys.

MUST stay healthy.

The ONLY position we have great depth is OL.

We should be ok at QB with 3 guys fighting for the #2 position.

RE: 2013 Preview
Sure am hoping a MAC home game opener is scheduled between games @ Iowa and Idaho...

who needs an open date in week two?

I foresee 8-4 or 9-3 as realistic ...given another new staff , needs in key areas lost , starting returnees, two deeps, redshirts and potential for any JUCOS or frosh earning starting roles.

Which team will be the strongest MAC West opponent to beat to reach Motown for a three peat IN MACC?

CMU or UT on the road?

Huskies should get bsu and wmu vrs NIU favorite son Fleck at home.

East crossovers not certain. MAC football scheduling come springtime is never simple nor easy to foresee.

NIU returns entire OL, backfield and Lynch. Need to replace Martel Moore and SRs on defense, but Huskies will be dynamite next fall.
