RE: Monarchs Playing Pro Ball
awesome!

Put him in soon!

HOUSTON -- Texans coach Bill O'Brien said he's not thinking about making a quarterback change "right now," but if Tom Savage cannot stop turning over the ball, the team will reconsider.

"Those [interceptions] weren't good decisions," O'Brien said. "I thought he made some really good decisions last night, I really did, but those two were not good decisions.

"We're going to sit down and watch the tape, and we'll see if we can get it corrected. It has to get corrected because if not, we're going to have to go in a different direction."

Savage has turned the ball over 12 times in five starts and leads the NFL in lost fumbles. All five of Savage's interceptions have come in the Texans' past three games. In the Texans' 23-16 loss to the Baltimore Ravens on Monday night, Savage completed 22 of 37 passes for 252 yards, with two interceptions and a fumble.

The Texans cut third-string quarterback Josh Johnson a week ago, so their only option on the bench is backup T.J. Yates. Yates has not attempted a pass in a regular-season game since Dec. 20, 2015.

Tom Savage remains Texans' QB - for now

Texans coach Bill O'Brien knew the quarterback question was coming as soon as he stepped to the podium for his day-after interrogation.

O'Brien, coming off a 23-16 Monday night loss in Baltimore, was asked if he was thinking about a change at quarterback.

"No, not right now, no," he said.

Inquiring minds wanted to know why O'Brien was sticking with Savage, who threw two more interceptions and suffered another strip sack against the Ravens.

Savage completed 22 of 37 passes for 252 yards and no touchdowns. His rating was 57.5.

O'Brien's support of Savage as the starter came with a warning: Eliminate the interceptions or else.

On both of his interceptions, Savage threw into coverage. With the score 7-7 in the second quarter, he threw a pass over the middle for Bruce Ellington that was intercepted to set up the go-ahead touchdown.

Outstanding. Way to go Taylor, and best wishes as you move forward with the Texans.

I haven't listened to it but episode 3 at the following link is a podcast where Baze talks about his path to the NBA;
https://itunes.apple.com/us/podcast/road...57625?mt=2

Edit: whenever I click the link, I'm getting some weird viglink landing page. But if you search "Road Trippin' NBA" and see the link for Itunes, you can listen there.

Jacksonville Jaguars WR Allen Hurns listed as OUT for this Sunday. Hopefully Pinkard will see more snaps.
