Louisville in ACC 2013?
So now that Boise State is staying put and San Diego State will more than likely do the same, is it realistic to think that Louisville will bolt for the ACC in 2013?

It not about Boise or SDSU but about Maryland/ACC Lawsuit...until that is resolved both us and Rutgers are stuck til 2014.

Let's hope Maryland comes to their senses, pays the $52 million, and leaves ASAP so U of L can take their place!
Having said that, I think the official ACC position is "we'll take you as so as you can get out of the Big East" - whether Maryland is gone or not.

Hokie, that's my understanding also. West Virginia bolted to the Big 12 without any waiting period. Louisville needs to make the move ASAP. I'd even bet that the ACC would help fund the exit cost to get Louisville in by next football season.
I've also been hearing talk about a possible big time non-conference game being negotiated for 2013. Anyone have any info on this? I believe ESPN is in the middle of the negotiations.

The ACC needs someone to play a home game on Labor Day Monday. Currently Clemson, Va Tech, UNC, Syracuse, Miami and Virginia are all unavailable. Duke & Wake are available but who cares? I suspect ESPN may try to get NC State to juggle its schedule so they can host U of L that night...

The ACC released their 2013 football schedules today. Looks like we will have to deal with one more year of a crappy Big East football schedule.

We better win them all by 3 TDs or else we will get some Sh**! We should score more than 350 points next season.

Prepare to catch some SH**. No way you beat UC by 3 TDs at Nippert Stadium. I know Louisville returns a lot, but so do the Bearcats. We had 65 1st and 2nd year players on the roster last year. Also, UC linebacker Greg Blair (led the league in tackles) and QB Brendan Kay received 6th year hardship waivers.
The Keg of Nails will be another barnburner next year.

Actually they just released the pairings. With 7 teams in the division, it wouldn't be hard to work in Louisville. Your OOC schedule might get torched though.
