Do you put all that together or is it from another site?

JMS has been providing those kind of stats on the Tiger board for a long, long time. The guy is a master with those stats and I greatly appreciate his work. Additionally, he's a straight-shooter when and if he adds any personal comments/opinions.

They are good reading for insight now, but the closer the season's end gets, the more valuable those stats are in helping understand where a team fits in the selection/left out process.

The pickup team that we're fielding after everyone transferred away lost to an NAIA team (St. Thomas in Houston) first game of the season.

Great work.
I will just point out though that C-USA's record against the Big 10 can't be 0-1. Tulane lost to Nebraska and UTEP beat them.

Who lost to a non-division 1 team?

All the thanks go to JMSTiger.

He does a great job with these numbers.

All I did was try to address your question.

I fixed it. Sorry about that. I still had it in my mind that Nebraska was in the Big XII. UTEP beat Nebraska, Tulane lost to them, so I placed that 1-1 in the Big Ten and took it away from the Big XII. Hopefully the rest is accurate.

I have been tracking RPI for years. A lot of it comes from that. I used to gather the data mostly from collegerpi.com, but the guy that ran that site sold out and went exclusively with CBSSports.com. His RPI data over there is messy and hard to find, so I mainly use WarrenNolan.com.

RE: Conference USA RPI update (01-01-13 edition)
A few things that stood out to me.

First, almost every C-USA team is doing extremely well on their home court this year. The best since realignment. Here are homecourt records so far:

Tulane (9-0)
East Carolina (7-0)
Marshall (6-0)
UAB (6-0)
SMU (5-0)
Southern Miss (4-0)
Memphis (8-1)
Houston (7-1)
UTEP (6-1)
Tulsa (4-1)
UCF (7-2)
Rice (3-4)

That is extremely impressive and the way it ought to be. What has hurt the conference and one of the reasons why we are down at #11 is because the league has pretty much collectively laid an egg in games played on neutral courts.

One other positive is the conference's collective record vs. schools from outside the top 10 conferences. That is 69-15 (.821) which is pretty darn good historically for C-USA since realignment. The negative is that we have done poorly against the "big 6", A-10 and Missouri Valley.
