Pete Perote: Offensive line coach (coached La Tech offensive line from '09-'12...also coached at USM in the late 90's)



John Simon: Running backs coach former La Tech running back, play in the NFL for the Redskins and Titans *no picture*

John Wozniak: Special Teams coordinator comes from being on staff at Alabama. Also coached at ULM, UAB, Montana State, Georgia Southern, LSU, and Ok. State



that's the staff so far...AN AWESOME staff if you ask me....4 coaches w/ NFL coaching/playing experience in Todd Monken (Jaguars), Dave Duggan (head coach NFL Europe), Mark Smith (S/C w/ the Saints and Redskins), and John Simon (played RB for Titans and Redskins).

Looks like a good staff. Monken was a name I wanted Houston to look at last year. I think he will be a good one.

Bump...Steve Buckley will be retained but NOT as OC/QB coach...will be recruiting coordinator. Makes sense be/c he knows a lot of coaches in MS/South (he was HC in Miss the past umpteen years)

Note: none of these have been officially announced yet. Some have been confirmed by pay boards and recruits who have talked to them, but have not been announced by Monken or the school.

Wosniak was at UAB for about 20 minutes, IIRC.

I'll say this: our special teams were lightyears ahead of the entirety of Callaway's tenure last year.
