We spend a lot of time analyzing stats but
mabe that's just futility setting in. I have heard our coaches say that keys to winning are fewer turnovers, winning the rebounding battle, second chance points and making more free throws than the other team shoots. Well we accomplished all those goals the other night in one of the games, and still lost. Why?
We couldn't shoot the ball. So if we really want to simplify the game and stop wasting a lot of time trying to analyze why we lost a game, it all comes down to only one thing. The final score. If we score more than the other team, we win. If we don't it's a waste of time analyzing stats. We lost. It's that simple. Figure a way to score more points than the other team and you win.
