For the record I'm on the side of adding ULL and and another West school (Ark. St., NMSU, Texas St.) to keep UAB and So. Miss East with us, but I'm in the minority.

For the record I'm on the side of adding ULL and and another West school (Ark. St., NMSU, Texas St.) to keep UAB and So. Miss East with us, but I'm in the minority.

Marshall, USM, UTEP, and probably Rice will soon be in other pastures at which time you will see ULL, ULM, Ark State, Lamar, and Tex State added to the Cusa west and Troy, S Ala, to the east. This will separate the sides into closely knit and compact geographical areas with the west being football oriented, the east concentrating on basketball, and a most likely split within a few years as basketball will be the cash cow.

Of course it is. I just wanted an excuse to remind him of that cluster fark last year that left them sitting at home while everyone else went bowling.

As for your other observations, there's hardly a hill of beans difference between the two conferences now. They should just merge to form a superconference, split into four divisions and do a 4 team football playoff at the end of each year.

You sat back with your arms crossed saying the WAC would be an abysmal failure and heck no, you won't go. We went. We made it work. That affiliation helped us get into CUSA. Cajuns, once again, arms crossed..."Tech will NEVER get into CUSA." We did.

Last year's bowl game, we gambled and fell short.

Congratulations. Something bad finally happened to Tech...and you guys really STILL don't get it.
