Programs have up and down times as this Herd fan knows. SMU will be back and I trust we are here in a even stronger CUSA when that happens. I can't imagine Fanz representing the thoughts of the overwhelming majority of Marshall fans. We have always appreciated SMU's weight to CUSA. That can't be disputed.

SMU is Southern Methodist University. Southern Miss (of whom Eagle in the Gym is a fan of) is USM (University of Southern Mississippi). Not flaming, just informing.

It is crazy for anyone to try & give USM crap for their bowl loss last season &/or their 0-12 season this year. They have been one of the most consistently winning programs in college football for the last 20 years. They have a strong fan base that supports their team through thick & thin.

They are a very good school that should've already been invited to the NBE & probably will be soon, if they still want to go.

My bad, I took the slam in the 2nd post on here wrong. I guess you all were given crap just for the 0-12 season. The rest of my comments stand.
