Still not a bad league. Much better than nCUSA and MW in Basketball. Even with BSU return to the MW the nBE is still better than MW in football and much better than the future CUSA. The MW is taking a beating this year in the bowls (1-4) with the only win being BSU by 2 over a (6-6) Wahington team. The nBE now gets to hand pick eastern schools that show dedication to improving their athletics. I hope USM and Marshall get an invite to replace BSU and SDSU.

I say finding a way to stay in C-USA West would be the best move for Houston, but I honestly can't see a scenario where it'd happen, due to the fact that there are currently 4 Texas teams in C-USA

that is a bit slanted.... mwc loss includes SDSU, nmwc picks up usu and sjsu who both won their bowl games. SMU, UCF and Cinci are the nbe wins, losses are navy, ECU, SDSU. MWC rpi is currently #2 behind the big ten. nCusa is 1-0 (Rice) with Tulsa currently leading ISU at the half... We'll talk about cusa rpi another day

You guys realize you Cooged an entire conference, right? Boise's expedition will cost $10 mm, now to be subsidized by other MWC schools. I think that UH may have a smaller cost associated with it, but I don't think anyone will subsidize them or SDSU for that matter...

You need the Cajuns to sure up South Louisiana and the New Orleans market with Tulane gone.

We either continue with BE move or go to MW. Egos are too invested to ever go back. Besides, CUSA doesnt need two teams in Houston and two in Dallas or 6 in Texas for that matter. lol, but that western division would look like a SWC mini-me (Houston, SMU, N Texas, UTEP, Rice, UTSA, Tulsa, Tulane, and LaTech).

Houston should go Indy.

The Eastern defectors are going nowhere. Why would they? The Big East sucks, but it is way better than C-USA.

SMU and Houston, on the bother hand, have the option of going to the MWC (which is a better option than the BE). If I'm the AD at either of those schools, I am getting on the phone with the MWC.

Hell, I'd love for USM to get a football-only membership in the MWC.

I think that the results would have been the same
