Fairly sure that agreement is void with them leaving the conference.

Because we're the subject of some Sisyphean punishment that keeps us falling to the bottom, then having it fall out again. Over and over and over in crueler and more absurd ways.

That's only a step above where we were, but in this day and age, you can only take a step at a time.

At this point I'm less worried about the make up of the league than I am about the money!

If all the other BS realignment would stop this would not be bad.

Without Boise (and the previous 17 schools that have left the Big East since 2004) the TV contract will be terrible.

As of right now, Big East football (or whatever it will be known as) will look like this in the following seasons:

2013
Cincinnati
Connecticut
Houston*
Louisville#
Memphis*
Rutgers#
San Diego State*
SMU*
Temple
UCF*
USF

2014
Cincinnati
Connecticut
East Carolina*
Houston
Memphis
San Diego State
SMU
Temple
Tulane*
UCF
USF

2015
Cincinnati
Connecticut
East Carolina
Houston
Memphis
Navy*
San Diego State
SMU
Temple
Tulane
UCF
USF

*New member starting that particular season
#Final season in which a member

You would have to think that at this point, San Diego State will go back on bended knee to the MWC and Navy will back out and remain an indy. What worries me is that Houston and SMU will try to go to MWC now that that conference clearly has the upper hand on the Big East.

I think if we can keep UConn and Cincy in the loop and can keep the best of the CUSA, that might be true.

I was really looking forward to having some western exposure in the league.

Metro 2.0 anyone?

UConn and Cincy have nowhere to go.

That being said...****!
