I think FIU did make a mistake firing Cristobal. FIU did have a disappointing season this year, but I believe that the only non-losing seasons they have had were 2010 and 11 under Cristobal.

Yep. AD thought that he could get Davis and, as I understand, could except for the dispute with UNC over the buyout. Should have had that checked out before firing Cristobal, especially since a similar argument was raised when Schiano was negotiating with him at Tampa Bay.

I hear Mark Snyder is wanting to be HC again. Thirty seven days from signing day and no coach. Thats going to be a really tight window.
