OT : Charlotte Bobcats
To my fellow Bobcat fans: why do we suck so bad. We started great but once we equaled the win total from last year we stopped playing or at last stopped finishing.

What do we need to get better?

Burn the franchise to the ground.

Too many NBA teams and it doesn't help when all the superstars want to play in the big markets. Teams like OKC get punished for doing well in the draft when they have to trade Harden to keep out of the luxury tax

Oddly OKC and Houston have both fared well post trade. I guess the truth will be told come playoff time.

true, but I don't think OKC would've traded Harden away if they could've kept him without the luxury tax penalizing them

You need a superstar player. Get one and you become relevant. The T-Wolves w/o Kevin Love are irrelevant. You're like the T-Wolves and Love isn't even a superstar but he's close enough.

Don't let Michael Jordan manage the team at all. Let hm be the face of the organization but DO NOT LET HIM MAKE PERSONNEL DECISIONS!

my 0.02 cents

Harden wanted a max deal and wouldn't compromise so OKC decided to get something for him instead of risking letting him walk.

With that said Charlotte is trying to build through the draft and got screwed out of the Uni-brow.

We need to drop some of this dead weight like Diop and Haywood and go younger. I also think Henderson should be on the way out but he's a young body so not quite yet

Davis was a gift to Benson for taking the Hornets off the leagues hands.

The Bobcats desperately need a big man.

It's basically a team full of 6th men right now.

How'd you Bobcat fans like the Hornets coming back from 20+ points to beat Charlotte last night?

if you look at the NBA Draft over the last few years the team who has the best chance at #1 pick never ends up with it, it wasn't just a Bobcats thing

To stop trading away players like Gerald Wallace and Tyson Chandler nothing. The Chandler trade was especially awful because they basically gave away one of the best center in the league who was a big piece for Dallas to win a championship.

From my man John Hollenger's trade breakdown.

Quote:I'd like to congratulate Michael Jordan on being the first executive in history to avoid saving money in a salary dump. Tyson Chandler and Alexis Ajinca have one year left at a combined $14.1 million, while Eduardo Najera and Matt Carroll are owed a combined $17.1 million over the next three years. Throw in cash (presumably the maximum allowable $3 million) from Dallas, and the Bobcats managed to break even while giving away their starting center for two guys who will occupy seats 11 and 12 at the end of the bench. Strike up the band.

That gives you a glimpse into the management of the bobcats.

I know Charlotte was mad they didn't get Davis, but I think Kidd-Gilchrist is a great player

RE: OT : Charlotte Bobcats
The only thing going well for the Bobcats right now is Rich Cho.

The management is pathetic. They don't pay to have their games shown in their region on directv outside of a 75 mile radius. When I visit my parents in Raleigh, I can't watch the games, even though they are local.

The draft lottery is incredibly rigged. If you don't think Ewing was a present to the Knicks, we can't have a conversation about the NBA and agree. The Magic will win it this year for moving Dwight Howard to a big market. I think David Stern wants Andrew Wiggins in Charlotte though, so I believe the bobcats will win the lottery the Wiggins year, along with getting the Hornets name in an effort to energize the Charlotte market.

The Bobcats can't make many moves either through the draft, because we owe Chicago a draft pick that is top 12 protected, yet we can't seem to finish well enough to avoid the top 12 picks. We are owed a pick from Portland, but it's also top 12 protected. I don't think we'll get it this year.

Richard Cho loves the idea of rebuilding through the draft, and I trust that, but it's a slow process. Kemba is a solid player, but I think he plays better off the bench. MKG is a legit NBA starter. I thought Byron Mullens could play, but he his shooting percentage is way down. I'm not sure Bismack will ever be much.

Does Raleigh get Sportsouth? If not that's why. Also I live in ENC with the multi-sports package through Dish Network and can see all their games.

I'm not sure. I know even when the games are on Fox Sports Carolinas (Where the Canes are shown) It blacks out the channel. I emailed the Bobcats, and called customer service at Directv about it once. Both sides blame the other. It sure is one hell of a way to grow a fan base though, not showing the local team.

Even if it's dubbed Fox Sports Carolinas it is still likely from Sportsouth.

Fox Sports South - Atlanta Hawks
Sportsouth - Charlotte Bobcats

Not to mention Canes are in Raleigh so of course they will be shown in their home city
