Perhaps the #agenda is just an agenda against poor hires.
Other than saying that you were working against him early on, what did you get out of your early negativity towards Josh Pastner?

"Working against him?"
It wasn't negativity, it was factual observations. Hate to break it to you, but pointing out a weakness isn't being negative.
I'm sure in your world of whatever you do in real life, you have expectations of people to perform tasks to a certain level of competency. If they don't meet those baseline levels of competency and you bring to light those concerns, are you just being "negative?" Does that mean you have an "agenda" against that person, or is it just that you see areas of improvement that need to be addressed?

No doubt. In my line of work I have a state inspector, a city inspector, (in some cases) a contractor, and the home-owner all inspecting and expecting a certain level of competence.

Apparently you are just being a "negative nelly" if you point out unsatisfactory performances.
Oh, and as an aside--who they hell could look at a grown ass man making millions of dollars to run a major basketball program who referred to people as "negative nellies?"
Good lord, that should have a reason to fire him right then and there.

Have fun watching Opie destroy Tech basketball. You better hope yalls admin figures a way to get rid of him faster than ours did. Or else your future will resemble our current state. It’s all down hill from here. And he’s not even reeling in the recruits for y’all like he was for us, so I’d be very worried about a faster downfall for y’all.

For Pastner to destroy Georgia Tech basketball would require it to have not already been destroyed by Paul Hewitt and Brian Gregory.

Hell, Hewitt took Tech took GT to their only title game. In all reality outside of a 9 year run from 84-93, your program hasn't been good at all. 43 seasons below .500 (Memphis, for comparison, has 11).
It's a tough job. Great academics. Has to compete vs. THE state school not too far away.

Hewitt also had an albatross of a contract. Hewitt also couldn't coach his way out of a damp paper bag. Hewitt also never developed talent. Oh sure, he could recruit lights out. But he produced a group of 5 players who played 1 on 5. At least Pastner sends a TEAM out there to play. Hewitt was so terrible at coaching X's and O's ESPN openly panned his offense as "the clogged toilet offense": http://www.espn.com/espn/page2/story?pag...CAA/daytwo
UGAg is not an issue in basketball. They are second banana in GA in college basketball.

Personally I think Pastner is pretty good at actual strategy. If he can just accept he cannot develop players or teach them how to execute his strategy things would be much better for him. He needs assistant coaches who can develop and teach and then let him call the plays. Unfortunately, Pastner is way too insecure to allow that to happen. He is afraid someone else might get credit.

He's just a prisoner of his own goofiness. He's overdosed on self-help books, idiotic catchphrases, and the inability to be a genuine person who can connect on a personal level.
You can't succeed if you can't truly connect to your players.
