MyBB UNC WILMINGTON W 72-60 (0-0, 4-9)
As gocamels.com says, the "finally-healthy" Camels take on UNCW. So, that excuse is gone. Pressure to win now?

UNCW hasn't won on the road this season.

Another Carolina-alum coach visits the Creek (which is always fun when they lose)!

Most appealing home game on the schedule. Too bad the students aren't around. Hope some of the Crazies can make it.

9-2 Lady Camels are at Wake Forest today, too.

RE: UNC WILMINGTON
First game I am going to make it to the Creek for this season. I hope now that they are healthy they will start to play better. I wonder what kind of crowd we are going to have with the students gone and it being the holidays.

CAMELS WIN! CAMELS WIN!

Campbell 72 UNCW 60

It's nice to finally get another win. How about Darren White's performance?! 32 points and 11 rebounds with still having a sore hand? I'll take that any day! I can't wait to get back in the Creek to see the Camels in action!

Maybe there was something to that injury excuse. We seem like a different team with Darren in the game even with him not at 100%

This was the team I've been expecting! Hopefully in March, we'll look back at this game as being the turning point of the season.

Great win for the players, coaches, and fans!

You have to wonder how much White's hand is bothering him with the numbers he put up today.

They are ridiculous numbers if he isnt 100% which I don't think it is. In the first half he was wincing while grabbing his hand; I thought he wasn't going to play in the 2nd because its was non conference.

Darren was in beast mode that game!

Granted I was towards the bottom and was pretty loud myself but it sounded like it got pretty noisy in there. Specially considering it was during break.

We could've iced this game much earlier if we hit our FT's though.....

I really thought personally we got pounded on the boards it seemed like they got 1 or 2 offensive rebounds every trip but then looking at the Box Score I was happy to find I was mistaken!

RE: UNC WILMINGTON W 72-60 (0-0, 4-9)
This was a good win for the program. I was at the game and it seemed that with around 6 or 7 minutes to go in the game our defense turned it up a notch which led to a lot transition points. That was good to see. Not to be a downer but one thing that does concern me is our half court offense. We seem to have trouble scoring and almost no inside game. I noticed several times Leek Leek posting up in the lane with great position and nobody would feed him the ball. All that said I am very happy with the win and I thought the atmosphere was great considering it was the holidays and students were gone.

UNCW has touted this as their tallest team ever, they did have some size, so I was excited that we out-rebounded them. I was also happy to see us play defense and hustle! Just the hustle plays we made were good to see, those have been missing.

If that's what we can be with a full roster, I'm excited. However, ECU will be tough and Gardner-Webb is a tough opponent to open conference - then follow that with three league road games. Big stretch coming up.
